NEW! Alumni Association Scholarships Now Available
Each year the Alumni Association offers up to six one-thousand dollar scholarships to deserving USM students. If you are currently a USM student, have a previous degree from USM, or have an immediate relative who does, you may be eligible!  Know a current student who fits this criteria?  Refer them to our guidelines and application for 2010!

A senior level design team comprised of USM administration and faculty has released a draft plan for University reorganization. Read more about the draft proposal to remodel USM's schools and colleges in such a way that enhances the educational experience for our students and help reduce ongoing structural costs.

Honors alum turns thesis into published novel












Meg ( Fletcher) North'04  turned her Honors program thesis into an a published novel.  Daniel's Garden is "an allegory of Paradise Lost, among other things,but above all it is a story of comaraderie in the midst of war" says Meg about her first published work.

USM geology graduate Jake Johnson was recently interviewed by seacoastonline.com about his new record label, studio and radio station, which he has launched in Dover.  Read the full interview about Jake and learn how he is channeling his passion for music into a passion for changing the music industry.
