Kate Cheney Chappell '83 launches Center for Book Arts with Inaugural Event Kate Cheney Chappell '83, co-founder of Tom’s of Maine, studied book arts under well-known Maine book artist and USM faculty member Rebecca Goodale. Chappell’s love of creating handmade books was something she wanted to share with a gift that established The Kate Cheney Chappell '83 Center for Book Arts at USM.
NEW Alumni Directory available in early 2009The Alumni office has partnered with Harris Connect of Chesapeake, VA, to produce an updated hard copy alumni directory. Thanks to the speedy response to the postcards, e-mails and phone calls, the production is currently under way, and we anticipate the directory will be available in early 2009. This directory will contain both updated alumni information and pictures, and will provide alums with a way to reconnect with classmates! If you have not yet purchased a directory and would like to do so, please contact Harris Connect directly at: 1-800-877-6554.
Information contained in this directory will not be made available to third parties. The directory is only able to be purchased by USM alumni.
