On May 13, 2010, graduating seniors joined members of the USM Alumni
Association for a fun and relaxing networking happy hour at RiRa's
Irish pub in Portland. Great food, a fun atmosphere and plenty of
networking opportunities kicked off a fabulous evening on the
waterfront!
Members of the USM Alumni Association and School of Business Alumni Chapter, as well as alumni volunteers were on hand to greet graduating seniors and offer some friendly advice to our most recent grads. The upstairs bar area of RiRa's was a great place to enjoy music, make new friends and unwind pre-Commencement. The event was organized by A.J Chalifour'08, past Student Body President and current Alumni Association Board member. Held in conjunction with USM's first ever "Senior Week", this event marked the first time that the USM Alumni Association had collaborated with Student Government leadership to host an informal networking event just for graduating seniors.
A great time was had by all- and the Alumni Association is already planning for next year's Happy Hour event for the class fo 2011!
