Bruce Roullard’84, President
Bruce is a manager with Countywide Home Mortgage in Portland. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from USM in 1984 and his M.B.A. from the University of Maine in 1987.  Bruce serves on the Board of Directors of the Gorham Times, is a Division Commander with Sigma Nu Fraternity, and is involved with Greek Life Alumni Council and the Portland Lions Club. Bruce resides in Gorham.

Kristen Hanson’92, President-Elect
Kristen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from USM in 1992. She is employed by Hannaford Brothers as the Vice-President of Fresh Merchandising.  Kristen is active with the YMCA, The United Way, and local school programs.  She has served as the Co-Chair of the Kresge Challenge Alumni Committee.  Kristen resides in Scarborough with her husband Ron their two daughter

Robin Mullins’91,’98, Immediate Past President
Robin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1991 and her Master of Arts, also in Education in 1998, both from USM.  She is a former member of the Adult Education Society and has participated in several United Way campaigns.  Currently, she volunteers in her hometown for the Junior Achievement program and as a soccer and basketball coach.  Robin is the Learning Design & Systems Team Lead at Hannaford Bros Co. and resides in Windham with her husband, John, and two daughters, Cassidy and Ainsley


Gene Boyington’89
Gene earned his M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing from USM in 1989.  He is the owner of A Smooth Move, a furniture moving company, and Mast Corner LLC, a real-estate company specializing in residential properties, land development and marketing. Both companies headquartered in Freeport.  Gene came to the Board from the M.B.A. Alumni Association in the early 1990’s.  He is a member of the Freeport Conservation Commission and also performs weddings. Gene resides in Freeport.

Stephen Puleo’97,’99
Steve earned his BA in Environmental Science in 1997 and Masters in Community Planning & Development from the Muskie School in 1999.  He has served as President of the Muskie School Alumni Chapter, helping to develop career support and mentoring services for students. Steve is employed as a Community Planner for the City of South Portland. He resides in Portland.

Andrea Andrus’72, Chair, Alumni Communications Committee  
Andrea earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from USM in 1992. An actively involved student during her time at USM, Andrea was named to “Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities”, was involved in the Student Senate, and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She served on the Alumni Board from 1975-1977, and was president in 1977. Andrea owns a private consulting practice focusing on non-profit organizations.  She is a member of the American Association of Professional Women.  Andrea resides in South Portland.

Barbara Arnoldo’69,’78,’98
Barbara holds three degrees from USM’s College of Education and Human Development.  She has been an educator for many years, serving as an elementary school teacher in Maine and Massachusetts, an instructor at St. Joseph’s College, and Principal of St. Patrick’s School in Portland.  Barbara is currently the Principal of Notre Dame de Lourdes School in Saco. She values the learning process and strives to improve the quality, content and environment of learning.  Barbara enjoys residing on a lake in Falmouth four seasons a year.

Catherine Daigle’94
Catherine attended Ricker College and the University of Maine at Augusta prior to graduating from USM with a Bachelor of Arts in History.  Since graduation, Catherine has worked at the Portland Public Library as a Library Assistant, working with periodicals and children’s literature.  She has been involved with social Sorority Beta Sigma Phi International for over 35 years and has served on the Portland Docent Society in the Tate and Longfellow Houses.  She has two children and two grandchildren.  Catherine resides in South Portland.

Spencer Droggitis’98
Spencer is a graduate of USM’s School of Applied Engineering, Science and Technology. He works as a Management Analyst at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Spencer is a member of the Navy Civilian Managers Association and a former member of the Biddeford Airport Commission. He has served as Chair of the Alumni Association’s Scholarship Golf Tournament for the past two years. Spencer and his wife, Joanne are proud new grandparents and reside in Biddeford.

Terry Garrett’88
Terry earned her M.B.A. from USM in 1988, and also attended the University of Maine, where she received a Bachelor of Science in 1973.  Terry is currently employed at WellPoint, Inc. as the Director of Process & Planning, Internal Audit.  She is a Certified Internal Auditor and member of the IIA and Downeast, Maine IIA Chapter.  Terry and her husband Michael have one daughter Caitlin, who is married and resides in Hawaii. They are residents of Cape Elizabeth.

Rich Grant’81,’90:    
Rich received an MBA from USM in 1990, and in 1981, graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Business Administration. Rich recently joined Axon Design and Marketing in Portland as their Director of Communications.  He is rejoining the Alumni Board after serving as a Board member from 2003-2004. Rich is a Maine native and avid outdoorsman who enjoys skiing, bicycling, hiking, kayaking and fishing.  He enjoys being involved in his community, and is currently a coach and Board member for the Brunswick Youth Soccer League.  Rich, his wife Lisa, and their two children, Colin and Natalie reside in Brunswick.

David Levesque’93,’97L
David has a general civil law practice in Damariscotta with concentrations in real estate and estate planning. He earned his M.B.A. from USM in 1993 and his J.D. from the University Of Maine School Of Law in 1997.  David holds leadership positions in the Lincoln County Bar Association and the Maine State Bar Associations. He also serves on the Board of the Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce.  David resides in Newcastle with his wife and three sons.

Scott McKenney’93, Chair, Finance Committee
Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Business from USM.  After graduation, Scott went to work in the hospitality industry, accumulating 16 years of experience, first with the Marriot company, and then Hilton Hotels.  He is currently the General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn-Auburn Riverwatch in Auburn, ME.   Scott and his wife, Rebecca have a four year old son, Jackson.  They reside in Cumberland.

Tara Nau’02, Chair, Special Events Committee
Tara received her Bachelors degree from USM’s College of Nursing and Health Professions in 2002.  She currently works for USM’s Lifeline program, where she serves as the manager of the Hannaford Corporate Wellness Center in Scarborough.  When she is not working, Tara volunteers for Maine Handicapped Skiing at Sugarloaf Mountain.  In the summer, she enjoys volunteering at a paddling program for the handicapped, also at Sugarloaf. Tara loves spending time with her family and participating in any outdoor activities.  She lives in Springvale with her boyfriend, Toby, and brother, Aaron.  They own and live in a four unit apartment building that is always in need of renovation.

Sally Serunian’76
Sally graduated from the University of Maine at Portland-Gorham, USM’s predecessor school, earning a Masters in Counseling Education in 1976.  She is a School Counselor in the Portland School system. Sally has served on numerous committees of the Alumni Association Board of Directors, including Scholarship and Marketing. She is also very active as a volunteer with the Portland Symphony Orchestra and serves on various psychology boards.  Sally resides in Portland.
