USM's Alumni 30 Minute Mentoring Program

USM's Alumni "30 Minute Mentoring" program connects current students to alumni for the purposes of mentoring, networking and experience-sharing.  USM's alumni network is unique in that 85% of our graduates live and work in Southern Maine.  Our alumni are leaders, decision makers, business drivers, entrepreneurs and influencers in the Southern Maine economy.  Their collective experiences and connections can assist students with career decisions and building your professional network.

“…I’ve taken away an increased understanding of what’s available, who is out there, and the value of knowing just how big a picture I fit into.”  Ethan Wiley ’14

“I participate in these sessions because I want to show students that they can use their USM degree and go far with it.”  Jennifer Burke ’99 - Alumni Mentor
